SON OF MAN
Setting aside unprecedented authority, he came first as a bridegroom to heal the breech dividing his tribe from the world's tribe. He feasted with those who welcomed him, and only after exhausting every other option finally bade his servants pour out the wine-bowls of those who spurned his wedding invitation and dared judge their judge.

SYNOPSIS EXCERPTS:
The first days after the flood. The entire world is a tribe, but a tribe fast splitting apart at the seams. Noah, Shem, Abraham -- each tries valiantly to repair a world spiraling out of control but fails. Finally, the priest-king Melchizedek gives Abraham the task from Yahweh to kill his son Isaac as a sacrifice, in preparation for an "intimate hour" that Yahweh will share with his beloved followers. But this horrifying and gripping moment is interrupted before the blade can strike, and the would-be sacrifice of Isaac suddenly morphs into a flashforward glimpse into the darkest hour of Christ on the cross. Suddenly, we transition from monochrome darkness of the "bad news" to the first colors of the incarnation.
From his first breath as a baby, the God-man Christ knows he will go farther than all others in a bid to reshape the world order. Even as his every move mends another wound, fulfills another promise, or sheds light on another mystery, those benefiting from the status quo combine forces against him in a growing chorus of opposition. Even his words warp across centuries to fulfill long-guarded prophecies before jaded witnesses.
Christ's life unfolds through his quest to redeem the world-tribe and bring about an hour through which Yahweh, as Melchizedek foretold, would have the most intimate connection with his beloved tribe, and his beloved tribe, in turn, would have access to the fruits of Christ's sacrifice. Although the God-man, Christ never forces himself upon his beloved: The result is a life-or-death struggle that culminates, at the hands of his enemies, in the cruelest of deaths... Even forty days after his earthly departure, Christ's influence is far from ended. The early Church continues the mission that he set them upon. As he foretold and forewarned, on the heels of the deaths of disciples Peter and Paul, the rest must flee Jerusalem when the great abomination of the Roman Legions arrives in 70 A.D. The Romans' destruction of Jerusalem is so devastating and cataclysmic that the death tolls of Hiroshima, September 11th, and the Tsunami of 2005 -- combined -- pale by comparison...
